The Professional version of the Made to Measure Medical Accounting Software (Kudu, Rhino, Oribi and Loerie) is a next generation medical accounts package, incorporating built-in security features.
Incorporating all the features, ease-of-use and support of the Millennium version, the Professional version builds increased functionality and utilities into the already powerful Made To Measure Accounting System.
The Additional Modules have also been adapted and updated for use in the Professional version - they are fully compatible and have been upgraded to utilise the extended features that the Professional version provides.
Professional Version Enhancements:
The Professional version enhancements are a result of feedback we have had from our existing user base of over 1700 therapists and doctors!
If you have patients willing to receive statements via email, this can be indicated on their accounts and thereby avoid printing and postage costs. Obviously this function requires that you do have access to email services.
A backup of all your patient information will be taken automatically everytime you run your program. This covers cases where the usual backups you perform are not up to date.
When taking a backup of your data you can specify an email address to which it should be sent. This is useful for sending data to us, or between 2 branches of the same practice.
The Professional version can allocate part payments to specific treatments. This is particularly useful when Medical Aids do not pay the full amount and the patient is liable for the balance. In this case a special statement can be printed that reflects the patient liability.
The Professional version gives the option to import codes from another source directly to the software. Use this function to import updated tariff codes which have been downloaded from the website.
Previous batches can be viewed at any time and re-sent if necessary.
Because the software uses one account per patient, it is sometimes necessary to add a 2nd account for the same main member but a different dependant. The Copy-Add function will add the new account with all the member info already included. This is particularly useful for GP's who regularly see whole families.
If you often invoice a few tariff codes for one treatment, you can set up a macro that will input all of them via 1 macro code. This is useful for physios who may often use a combination such as 72303, 72203 - 0008 72001 - 0008. These could be set up in macro code xx001, making data capture much faster.
The Professional version can generate separate age-analysis reports for the different therapists assigned in the Multi-Therapist Additional module.
The Nappi Code Additional module now allows you to specify item quantities. The quantity is also transmitted via EDI.
The Professional version will run a check on your data every time it starts. If there is damage due to a power failure, it will attempt a repair - and only if this is not possible, will it prompt you to restore from your backup.
Enhanced Messaging
The Professional version allows more options and customization for messages that are printed on statements, including discounts, alternate Medical Aids and private messages.
SMS
The Professional version enables you to send sms from with in the program to you patients.
